First Day Back At Work

Posted: November 8, 2011 in Everyday Life

After 5 weeks of absence due to the exam period, I’m finally reporting back to work… I can’t say that I’m looking forward to it, but I can’t say I loathe it either… I guess it’s just me feeling that I haven’t had a good rest after the exams… Come on, having to return back to work just 3 days after my last paper isn’t exactly much rest, especially when the 3 days consist of the weekends and a public holiday…

Ohh well, no use complaining too much… At least I’m working with people I feel comfortable with or make me feel at home in the office…

Bad news and good news…

Bad news: I’m suppose to switch over to AP (Accounts Payable) for a couple of weeks to cover 2 of my colleagues… And some part of it is due to the fact that my friend didn’t inform the management that he would have to be away for 3 weeks… Hopefully I will be able to absorb as much as what my friend can teach me before the week ends and not make a mess of things from next week onward…

Good news: I managed to borrow an additional monitor for my work-station! Makes things so much easier for me… And I have got a new work-desk all to myself!

Aura Reading

Posted: November 6, 2011 in Everyday Life

Baby brought me to this shop at Fu Lu Shou Complex a couple of days back to get my aura read… She got to know about it when a friend of hers brought her there some time ago… She told me it was pretty accurate for her and I was a little skeptical about it seeing that I don’t believe in anything else but God…

However, curiosity got the better of me and knowing that it costs only $5 to get a reading done, I decided to give it a try… The whole process was pretty short… A polaroid camera with add-ons and a seat just in front of it with 2 palm-readers on it… I sat facing the camera with my hands on the readers… It was over within a minute…

While waiting for the picture to be ready, I was wondering what my aura would look like, or more specifically, what colours would my aura be made of… Would it be mostly red like baby’s or would it be totally different…

When i saw my picture, i realised that the colours were pretty dull, mostly dark shades of blue… A little of red, white and green on spots of the picture… The lady was nice enough to explain to me what the colours and positions meant… The blue around my body meant that I’m physically and mentally drained at the moment… And that I’m going through a really exhausting period of time, which is true since the past few weeks I have been concentrating on my exams and hardly getting enough sleep… The white part near my chest area meant that religiously I have been relatively consistent… Well, to a certain extend it’s true that I have been praying more recently and maybe subconsciously I have been looking to God for answers over certain issues more often now… The red patch over my shoulder represents my career and studies… While it may not be the best of the colours available, red still means that there are still good opportunities for me at the moment, but it can all be better…

According to her, it’s better if the aura is brighter in colour as for everyone’s case… So mine being pretty dull and dark in colour means that I’m not in the best of situations right now… But according to her as well, things can change, and when things change, the colours will too… It all depends on the well-being of the individual and how they look after themselves… So, hopefully some rest and good news will change things… Come to think of it, I just might go down and have my aura read again some time in the future, just to see if anything has changed…

=)

It’s Saddening and It Hurts

After so long, you still don’t know how I feel towards you…

And after so long, just because of 1 thing, you tell me those words…

We are both at fault, but is that how you see it…

It’s Been A While

It’s been 6 months since I last posted… Mostly because I was irritated by the lack of media space provided and have been looking for an alternative, even till now… So posts will probably be picture-less, till I find a solution to it =)

What’s to believe and what’s not to believe?
I really don’t know…
