celebrated sis’s 20th birthday 1 week in advance as i wont be around then… went to church, then had lunch at Pariss…

spent quite awhile packing finish my stuff… im really hoping i dont leave out anything important…

well couple more hours and im off to camp… should be out during the weekends so will cya guys then =)

A Little Emo

dont know what gotten into me these few days… just didnt fee like talking much… just didnt feel like doing much… wanted to blog the past few days, but didnt feel like as well…

i seem to have gotten slower recently, reaction-wise… when people tell me a joke, i take a damn long time to catch it… -.- …

A Jar and 2 Cups of Tea

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students if the jar was full.

They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the Jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full.

They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

He asked once more if the jar was full.

The students responded with an unanimous ‘yes.’

The professor then produced two cups of tea from under the table And poured the entire contents
into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand.

The students laughed.

‘Now,’ said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
‘I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things – God, family, children, health, friends, and favorite passions — things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else –the small stuff.

‘If you put the sand into the jar first,’ he continued, ‘there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.

The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, You will never have room for the things that are important to you.

So… Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play With your children. Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.
There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.
‘Take care of the golf balls first –the things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand’

One of the students raised her hand and inquired
What’s the tea represent ?

The professor smiled. ‘I’m glad you asked’.
It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there’s always room for a couple of cups of tea with a friend.’

Sentosa !

had another c7 outing today… this time round, it was at sentosa… and it was loads of fun even though the crowd was smaller than the bbq…

met up with ming n mon at my place in the morn before going to Jln Kayu for prata before going to ivan’s place… reached vivo around 11 then met up with bee and took the monorail to siloso beach… nice weather we had today, but all of us got burnt totally… lolz…

played volleyball, soccer, and soaked ourselves in the sea… ever played sand-fight? well, we did… and it was fun… but well, GIRL started it all… haha… she’s the TROUBLEMAKER !!! =X (*winks*)

stayed till bout 7pm at sentosa then went to vivo for dinner… walked around… sat down and chatted before going home…

after 1 whole day of fun, everyone was so tired, and everyone got roasted… lolz… ohh well i will update the pics when i have scanned through all of them… some are too unglam to put =pPp

Meeting Up

took the car and met up with yj for dinner at the bedok market… one of my fav places to eat… kidney mee sua !!! the last time i was there was prolly before seng went to aust… im surprised that drinks stall auntie still remembers me… lolz… we ordered the mee sua and a bbq stingray… the chilli seems to have gotten spicier than i remembered, but it was great… well it was a short meeing up so we will meet up again soon… passed her her clinique stuff and the chocs as well…

sent her back before pick mon up to meet atom at hougang… had a good chat with him… we didnt really talk during the bbq, so this was good…

sent the car back home and waited for ivan to pick me n mon up from my place… we had supper at the nearby foodcourt… picked up jc along the way as well… stayed till 4 before heading home…

Another Movie Watched

hmm im running out of ideas as to what to put for my titles so put the first random one that comes to mine =X

went out with ao, moo, xy, provi, hypo, only1, mon, wuzhun, maki and sky (cs peeps) to town… had lunch, played lan and watched The Incredible Hulk, then had dinner at plaza sing… was a pretty fun day…

but i need to stress some stuff…

No. 1 – The coms at the lan shop suck!!! mouse will auto hang… speakers no sound… -.-

No. 2 – The no. guessing game we played at the f00dcourt was really fun… i didnt mean that its my first time playing it but i simply meant that the forfeit and the company was lots of fun… if we still had time we would prolly have continued playing… haha… next time next time =)

No. 3 – Im almost broke le !!! so many movies and outings =/
