UEFA Champions League Final

headed down to Simpang Bedok to catch the live telecast of the UCL Final between Man Utd and Barcelona with Khairi and some other frenz… at the start, it was only me n him, but the group quickly grew to including Jevan, Azmie, Ken and 2 of his frenz, and Zul… we reached just before midnight and it was still a little empty, but the crowd quickly grew and soon people were waiting for seats… we ordered some f00d and drinks and soon were busy catching up…

match started at 2.45am and everyone’s eyes were grew to the tv screens… u can hear the shouts and cheers and jeers all around… i admit, the atmosphere at Simpang Bedok isnt as great as the one at CrabShack last year, but nonetheless, it was still a good one… when the match ended, the scoreline read Man Utd 0 – Barcelona 2… Barcelona had won the final… in truth, it was a poor match by Man Utd…

anyway, we all had fun there despite the result of the match… it was a chance for us to meet up and catch up and catch the match together…

Congratulations to Barcelona and their fans…

and a job well done on reaching the final MANCHESTER UNITED…

overslpt so didnt go to school today… instead, played soccer with khai, azmie and some of his frenz at The Cage, Kallang… first time playing there… nice place to play if u have lots of frenz who wana play… 5-a-side… its a little out of the way, but there’s a bus and just a short walk after that… played from 12pm-4pm… then had a late lunch near Kallang Mrt… azmie injured his leg during the game so was limping pretty badly… he had difficulty walking on his own, so we sent him to tamp to take a bus to yishun… went to khai’s place to catch the Singapoore vs Vietnam (1st-Leg)… then seng came over halfway and we went for a bite after the match before heading home…

im so damn tired today… even when im sitting down, im still panting -.- … that goes to show how out of fitness i am… time to start exercising… im predicting sore muscles tml when i wake up =(

w00t… 0-0 at the end of 90min… won the penalties 3-1… first silverware of the season ^^

was at church in the morn before popping over my aunt’s place for a visit… been awhile since we visited each other… was fun playing with the 2 dogs as well…

took the car down to JE after everyone was home… met up with xy, ao, provi, hypo, sai n pipes, mon and cindy… finally met sai n pipes… lolz… slacked around IMM and had ajisen for dinner… sent them back and headed over to khai’s place to catch the Community Shield match between Man UTd and Portsmouth… kind of boring though… not much excitment… but ohh well… Man UTd won… thats what matters… haha

We Are The Champions of Europe !

headed over to Crabshack with khai and some of his uni frenz… was a little hesitant to go in the first place as i still had another paper to go on fri… but at the end of the day, i was glad i made the trip down… it truly was memorable… not only was the match a great one, the atmoshphere sums it all up…

we arrived at the place at 10pm and besides the few occupied tables, the place was empty… there were still lots of seats available… we began our 5hour wait by grabbing a good seat and began chatting… as the time passes by, the crowd grew… and before long, it started to get really crowded… when the match started, the place was so packed that the latecomers had to simply stand… not that any of them really mind… the Singapore Man Utd fan club was there in numbers as well… TNP was also at the scene…

during the match, everyone started chanting out cheers… it was a surprised to me that everyone loved Man Utd this much… i suppose this is what u call being passionate about the sport and the club… the atmosphere throughout the match was truly tremendous… cheers n jeers were part of the proceedings… when the final whistle blew at the end of the spot-kicks, shouts of joy and jubilation could be heard around… Man Utd had won the UEFA Champions League on penalties… u can see everyone jumping up and down shouting, cheering and hugging one another… before long, i found myself to be one of them… it was truly a remarkable and memorable experience for me, to be part of this crowd and witnessing one of the best games ever…
